In July 2021, Blue Foundry Bank’s parent company, Blue Foundry Bancorp, became a publicly-traded company on NASDAQ, and concurrently Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation was established. Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation supports not-for-profit groups, institutions, schools, or other organizations operating in the communities served by Blue Foundry Bank and its affiliates, as a way of adding to the quality of life for people living in those communities. The communities served by the Foundation will include all additional communities served by the Bank through expansion or acquisitions. The Foundation may solicit Grant applications through community involvement and awareness.

Patrice Picard

Patrice is the CEO at Cornerstone Family Programs and the Morristown Neighborhood House. In 1999 Patrice began her commitment to and passion for Cornerstone when she joined the Board of Directors. Patrice served in several capacities including President of the Board for four years. In 2007 she was named CEO.

Patrice led the organization through several periods of significant change, most recently with a strategic repositioning that resulted in the sale of the Cornerstone Headquarters building on Elm Street in Morristown and a new focus on core programs and growth. In 2013 Cornerstone merged with the Morristown Neighborhood House doubling the size of the organization, celebrated a bicentennial, changed names, and rebranded the organization (formerly known as Family Service of Morris County). That same year, the organization received the Agency of the Year Award from the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities.

Prior to her career in nonprofit management, Patrice was a Senior Vice President and Director of Compensation, Operations, and Human Resources Systems at Baybanks, Inc in Boston. At this bank holding company (subsequently bought by Bank of Boston) she developed and managed compensation programs for 6700 employees. Patrice was also part of the Senior Management Team that worked on mergers and acquisitions. Following a move to New Jersey, Patrice managed marketing and administration for a start-up consulting firm.

As an active member of the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, Patrice serves on the CEO Council and is a member of the National Advisory Council for the Center for Engagement & Neighborhood Building. Patrice also is an active member of the Women Presidents’ Organization and Impact 100 Garden State.
Patrice has been a featured speaker and moderator at many conferences including Investors Bank’s Not for Profit Conference and Sobelco’s Annual Nonprofit Symposium. She also was featured on Steve Adubato’s “One-on-One” for healthcare.

In 2014, Patrice was named one of New Jersey’s 2014 Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ and received the 2009 Tribute to Women Award from the Boy Scouts of America. In 2016 she received the David Van H. Hedley “Spirit of Giving” award. She also served as President of the Junior League of Morristown and as Chair of the New Jersey State Council of Junior Leagues.

Patrice has a B.A. in Industrial Psychology from Purdue University and an MBA from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue.

James D. Nesci

James serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Blue Foundry Bank, a position he has held since 2018. In addition, he is a board member of the New Jersey Bankers Association. Mr. Nesci has been instrumental in developing the Blue Foundry Bank brand.

Prior to his role at Blue Foundry Bank, he served as Head of National Sales for TD Bank’s $20 billion U.S. wealth management business. Before joining TD Bank, Mr. Nesci served as Executive Vice President and Chief Wealth Management Officer of Provident Bank and was President of Beacon Trust, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Provident Bank. Prior to this, Mr. Nesci was Chief Operating Officer with Wilmington Trust Company, National Wealth Management. Mr. Nesci earned two separate MBAs from Columbia Business School and the London Business School, respectively, as well as a BBA in Finance from Hofstra University in New York. He also has received his NACD Fellowship certificate.

Mr. Nesci’s positions as President and Chief Executive Officer foster clear accountability, effective decision-making, a clear and direct channel of communication from senior management to the full Board of Directors, and alignment on corporate strategy.

Kenneth Grimbilas

Kenneth is the current Chairman of Blue Foundry Bank Board of Directors and has served as a Director for over 22 years. Mr. Grimbilas is the Chief Executive Officer of Tornqvist, Inc., a boutique fabrication and machine shop that has served many clients in the pharmaceuticals, government, transportation, aerospace, entertainment, and consumer goods industries.

In addition, Mr. Grimbilas has been a member of the board of the Chilton Memorial Hospital Foundation, now Chilton Medical Center, part of Atlantic Health. Mr. Grimbilas’ experience provides the Board of Directors with extensive knowledge of business and operational matters and the Northeastern New Jersey market area.

J. Christopher Ely

J. Christopher has been a Director of Blue Foundry Bank for over 22 years. Mr. Ely is President of One Madison Management Corp., a real estate management and consulting firm that serves the needs of residential, commercial, and industrial property owners in Northern New Jersey.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/ Accounting from Montclair State College, began his career with Price Waterhouse and Co., and earned a Certified Public Accounting Certification in 1981. He serves as an Assistant Treasurer for the Glen Ridge Congregational Church.

Mr. Ely provides the Board of Directors with extensive knowledge of real estate and small business management experience.
